Meet Allie Perry: Product Team

Allie Perry is a contemporary goldsmith who lives and works in Hamden, Connecticut. An avid nature lover, her one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces are frequently inspired by the land and sea. Her playful personal style extracts joy from the mundane and helps bolster her message that jewelry should amplify the quirks in our character while keeping fun at the forefront.

Using natural, hand-cut stones she sources from independent lapidary artists across the United States, Allie makes custom jewelry accessible to the average collector. She does this while taking great pride in the fact that the making of each piece often supports multiple small businesses.

As a lifelong creator, Allie got a taste of sharing her art on a larger scale when in elementary school a mixed-media collage she’d created was put on display in a local museum. Her innate preference for three-dimensional art media inspired her to take a high school class that taught the jewelry-making basics she would later use to earn a B.S. in Studio Art with a specialization in Jewelry and Silversmithing. She also went on to earn the Accredited Jewelry Professional designation from the Gemological Institute of America.
With professional experience spanning decades, Allie draws on her knowledge and specialized experience with varied precious metals, stones, and hand fabrication techniques to create heirloom-quality jewelry that is meant to be worn and enjoyed. She takes as much pride in a simple sterling and turquoise pendant as she does in a hand-wrought platinum and diamond engagement ring. Allie is also dedicated to sharing her wealth of goldsmithing knowledge and helping advance new learners in the field, doing so by sharing her process on social media as well as teaching jewelry-making classes at the local university.
