The Lions Claw Platinum is a jewelry soldering tool that features a collet for custom tips. The tool itself is a welded stainless steel construction.

The platinum comes with three (3) steel tips (finish nails) that can be user modified for custom holding operations.

A great new tool on my bench

This is a very helpful tool and I have found it effective @ holding a small piece in place that I have had difficulty holding in place while soldering and not floating out of position.

What an interesting and most useful little tool. Another adaption of the “3rd hand” concept. While “Hold It” clay has good applications this tool definitely has replaced may of them.
