I love everything about these! I have already used them several times and was just telling my sister about how perfect they are especially when soldering multiple layers at a time. LPF for the win!

I have three of these now because they’re so handy. They are useful to keep small pieces in place when soldering and also many other ways if you’re creative. Highly recommend.

Perfect for holding small pieces in place for soldering, where the point anchors things vertically - I’ve already used it to solder bails to bezels, to sweat solder adornments onto plates etc and it’s made things secure in a much less fiddly way!

NB Enough weight to position and hold smaller pieces; may need more weight for larger pieces.

I'm bummed because I promptly lost it in my shed. So can't really give an accurate review, sorry

It was much smaller than it looked in the photo, there was no dimensions given in the listing description. It will work for some applications. The washers that are meant to slide forward to add weight are very tricky to keep in place because they have to sit on the bend, unless you also elevate the base.

This tool has helped me so much in getting things perfectly aligned and soldered without the piece ever moving. Every metal smith needs this.

I used it attaching charms to a a ring band. It made that project so much easier! It held the tiny charms in place for soldering

This is a very helpful soldering tool. I really like that there are multiple weights for holding down objects. Two are better than one so I’ll be pitching another.

I’ve been looking for something like this for a while for soldering with smaller pieces that tend to move around a lot. This is hands down one of my favorite purchases this year.

These are the best little hold-downs! Bezels, ring bands, silver balls so they don’t jump off, they are the best!

They work just the way I thought they would. Very handy tools.
