About:

The Wire cut jig is a tool designed to make you work faster. the stainless steel insert allow you to cut length of wires from 1/4 inch to 3 inches in 1/4 inch increments.

The flip side of the jig has inches converted to millimeters (rounded to the nearest whole MM)

The outside panels are made from quality hardwood ply and precision laser engraved in the Lion Punch Forge Shop. Each jig is finished and assembled by Chris!

How to use:

  1. Use straightened wire. Bent wire can cause the measurements to be wrong. 
  2. Maximum wire gauge for the jig is 14 but follow the specifications for your flush cutters. Some wire may be too thick for some cutters.
  3. Insert your wire into the desired slot until it contacts the bottom.
  4. Grab the wire with your flush cutters so the bottom of the of your cutter contact the jig. 
  5. Pull the wire slightly out of the jig with your cutters and complete the cut.
  6. Repeat for fast component prep

Awesome wire cutting jig

I love tools that are both functional and beautiful like this jig. It is a pleasure to hold and use. I am anxious to use it for cutting chain links and many other repetitive, precision tasks. Customer service was outstanding.

"Even" better that I though!

Now I can make even lengths for all my projects. Now it's much easier to work from the spool now. Before I would fumble with the spool, ruler and cutter, lengths were never truly even. Which can make you work look sloppy. Thank you!

A stunningly beautiful tool. I love the varieties is sizes. 1/4 inch to 3 inches, with metric measurements on the opposite side! Be sure your wire is straight so it goes all the way to the base of the jig. Also be mindful of the wire gauge and shape so as not to have too tight of fit when you flush cut, so you can remove it. For finer gauge like arwires you can cut more than one at a time. Great time saver. Thanks, Chris for this awesome tool!
