Compressed, natural hardwood charcoal block has a compact, tight-knit surface that reflects heat from the flame back into the jewelry piece, making the flame more efficient. Ideal for soldering, granulation and melting projects.

*We highly recommend wrapping the outside with stainless wire to keep the block together for longer. often times the expansion and contraction of heating the block causes the charcoal to crack prematurely.
