Lindsay Minihan has been creating amusing tools drawings since 2018 using ink and watercolors. She is a trained metalsmith and draws inspiration from the equipment used in jewelry making, pairing each illustration with a clever phrase or song lyric.

 After graduating from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, she spent 16 years in jewelry education, serving as the Executive Director of Metalwerx, a non-profit school and community studio. This gave her the opportunity to support hundreds of professional and emerging artists. In 2022, she began working with Gesswein, a 100+ year old tool and supply company. Her days are still focused on strengthening the field, supporting studio jewelers, educators, and schools…along with plenty of tool talk!
