LPF’s Axis Soldering System V2 is well made and easy to use. I bought it for my wife for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. I have used it several times also yes it’s a hit! Very glad I bought it.
I love this thing! I've now used it to saw tiny items (small initials, delicate flowers) and have used it for sanding hard-to-reach crevices in small components. I get more control and precision with the micro saw on small things.
I have had several types of mini saws, but this is the best one I have ever used. The frame is so strong it doesn't bend when pressure is applied and this has made blade breakage to a minimal. My work bench is a converted desk, so im always having to raise my pin when I saw with my normal saw (the Haymaker) because the handle hits the desk. For small jobs this mini has been great. I sawed open a ring shank for resizing, sawed of a design off the side of necklace. I use the full hand grip for that.
To sum it up, I love this saw. I would have liked the handle to be just a tad bigger, but it is not a big deal at all.
