What a huge difference in the pick I purchased from Lion Punch Forge. I had several picks that were thin and would get hot and bend.

The first day of use, this pick became one of my 3 favorite tools at my brazing station. The weight and balance make it a joy to hold, as engaging as a fidget toy. The thicker tip makes it a useful heat sink which really changes how you manage and direct heat.

I am working on perfecting my pick-solder technique. This solder pick has made it much easier to pick up and place solder exactly where I want it. The octagonal heat guard protects my fingers and keeps it from rolling off my soldering station. And, it's really pretty <3 !

The first pick I had was a wooden one. I burned the handle on day 3. I absolutely love this pick! It’s weighted well so it feels nice in the hand and it picks up solder like a breeze…plus it’s purdy! What more could you ask for?
