Sardonyx Scarab Cabochons

Associated with antiquity, this species is steeped in spiritual symbolism. Scarab-shaped amulets have been excavated even from the Great Pyramid in Egypt. While this species is typically perceived as symbolic of mortality, it has, in fact, usually been characterized as a metaphor for rebirth.
