Flux It - Firescale Protection 8oz with Dropper Bottle
Based on "Prip's Flux", a recipe made famous by Jack Prip 50 years ago, our Flux-It is made with modern manufacturing processes to prevent the formation of firecoat and firescale during soldering. Use Flux-It when soldering silver, gold, and any non-ferrous metals including nickle silver!
Flux-It comes in an 8 oz. bottle and Clay Revolution also provides a smaller applicator bottle with every purchase to make precise application easier! You can also apply Flux-It with a brush to cover a broad area.
Ensure the workpiece is clean from debris for optimal results. Provides excellent firecoat and firescale protection. Heat metal briefly with a torch and apply Flux-It until a fine layer is achieved. A coat over the entire workpiece is necessary for optimum performance, no bare metal should be visible. Heat until flux dries evenly, do not overheat (flux will turn gold or brown). If underheated, flux will remain liquid in certain spots. Perfect application will result in an even, white coating on the entire work piece. Pickle with Yurina Pickle after soldering to remove Flux-It from the workpiece.
