"Generally" Sizes 4 - 4/0 are the most commonly used sizes in jewelry

  • Size 4 can be used for       10 to 16 ga metals
  • Size 2 can be used for       16-18 ga metals
  • Size 2/0 can be used for    18 - 22 ga metals
  • Size 4/0 can be used for    22-24 ga metals
  • Size 6/0  can be used for   22-28 ga metals

Saw Blades

These blade work wonderfully. I am a new to the trade, but I definitely recommend using these blades over the cheaper ones. They last longer and are sturdier. For example, I was using a cheaper 2/0 blade set, they all broke within the hour. Whereas this particular blade set, the first blade I used, since opening the package has lasted weeks.
